City Novalja is
situated on the island Pag, on its north-western part. This ideal position
enables great traffic connection with mainland, but Novalja is also on the
maritime paths from north Adriatic towards the south. This is why boaters
especially like to come to port Novalja which makes safe refuge from the wind,
but also offers the possibility of taking the gas for the boats. Traffic
connections of the island Pag are more than good; on the northern part the
island is connected with mainland through the ferry line Žigljen – Prizna and
on its southern part the connection with mainland is Paški most. Great traffic
interconnection is realized by fast ship on the line Novalja – Rijeka – Novalja
every day, by every day taxi transfer and bus lines towards Zadar, Zagreb,
Rijeka, Split and during the summer also towards Varaždin, Maribor and Požega. Cultural
sights of the City are held in the City Museum inside of which there is the
entrance into the underground water supply (Talijanova buža) from the antique
period. The main income of Novalja and
its inhabitants is tourism. The city is completely oriented towards the
accomodation and amusement of its guests. In the vicinity of the city there is
beach Zrće, popularly known as Croatian Ibiza, where young people come to enjoy
swimming during the day and partying at night. The closest airport is Zadar
Airport which is about 80 km far or about an hour taxi transfer drive. If you
are coming to Novalja or departing from it, our Holiday transfer company is
readily waiting for your taxi transfer inquiry.
